The nutritional value of milk can never be overemphasized. Most people across the world have it as a staple part of their diet. It packs in an ideal mix of nutrients such as vitamin A, B12, D, calcium, carbohydrates, phosphorous, selenium, magnesium, protein, zinc, and riboflavin. In fact there has been recent research on using milk to neutralize the cholesterol content of the body. Most of milk’s caloric content is because of the natural sugars found in it. These reduce the chance of occurrence of a number of deficiencies, and are therefore vital for the overall functioning and health of the body

Let’s see the health benefits of milk

Great source of Calcium
Every one cup of milk (250 ml) gives you 285mg calcium that meets over 20% of your daily calcium requirement. Calcium protects the body from major chronic ailments such as cancer, bone loss, arthritic conditions, migraine headaches, pre-menstrual syndrome, and obesity in children. Calcium as we all know is the much needed mineral for healthy bones and teeth.

Dehydration
Apart from drinking water, milk is considered ideal for dehydration as it contains a good amount of water molecules.

Improves Heart Health
Two long-term studies in Japan have shown that daily calcium intake reduces chances of stroke, atherosclerosis, and cardiovascular diseases. Therefore, milk promotes a healthier heart. The magnesium and potassium present in milk act as vasodilators. This means that they reduce blood pressure, increase blood flow to vital organs, and reduce the stress on the heart and cardiovascular system.

Nourishes skin
Due to its significant content of vitamin A, having milk helps to improve skin. Milk has the antioxidant potential which helps eliminate dangerous byproducts of cellular metabolism, which are partially responsible for premature aging of the skin, like the appearance of wrinkles and age spots.

Acidity reduction
Having cold milk provides relief from acidity.

Provides relief to cancer patients
A new study indicates that a dairy-rich diet, may prolong the life of patients suffering from colon cancer.

Despite the numerous benefits of milk, there are many people who have switched to milk alternative. This could be due to the digestive problems they have. Not only are they missing out on the health benefits of milk but even the taste of it, because cereal, shakes and desserts – all need a generous splattering of milk.

It may be time for you to get back together with milk, because most of the digestive problems associated with milk are attributable to the A1 protein found in A1 milk. You can switch to A2 milk (Milk from our Indian Cows) without any worry, because it is free of the A1 protein. Also it has more natural calcium than soy milk, 8 times the protein of most almond drinks and 6 times the potassium of rice drinks. It is time you got back together with real milk – the A2 milk from our Indian Cows.
