3. We do not separate the bull, the cow and the calves. They all live as one happy family. Just 25% of the cows in Klimom farms deliver milk. Yet, the remaining 75% are also looked after very well.
4. While milking, 25% of the cows’ milk is first fed to the calf. The young calves drink their mothers’ milk for a full 8 months.
5. The milking is done by hand; not by mechanical pumps.
6. While milking, we play soft folk music which calms and de-stresses the cows.
7. To look after the cows we have a traditional Gujarati family of cowherds. Their profession has been to look after the cows for generations.
8. The Klimom cows get a healthy balanced organic diet. While milking, twice a day the cows are fed 5 kgs of healthy ‘daana’. Twice a day the Klimom cows are given 8-10 kgs of Bhoosa, .They are also given an unlimited feed of fresh of organic green grass through grazing in the fields. With such a balanced diet and plenty of exercise, the cows deliver milk which is pure and healthy.
9. The Indian Gir cows live in Klimom in an ocean of love and care. The bulls mate with the cows and deliver natural off-springs.
10. At Klimom Wellness and Farms, the day starts with aarti and puja. The cows are anointed with turmeric and they wake to the sound of soft music.

The Klimom cows get a healthy balanced organic diet. While milking, twice a day the cows are fed 5 kgs of ‘daana’, a ration of Cotton Cake, chunni of Tur Dhal and Channa Dhal, Jaggery and Coconut Cake. Twice a day the Klimom cows are given 8-10 kgs of Bhoosa, wheat straw and whole maize.They are also given an unlimited feed of fresh of organic green grass through grazing in the fields, acres of organic green grass grown along with special nutritious herbs and we have an organic banana plantation for them. On weekends, we feed them Jaggery and bananas. With such balanced diet and plenty of exercise, the cows deliver milk which is pure and healthy.
